We’ve worked with one of the most creative Netlify users to build an interactive experience that turns this amazing community into a literal constellation. ![Capsules](/cms-assets/sanity/43cf4026e0a2808ed1b5dd5ee5b3348ee71cf616-3076x1730.png) > Launch your own capsule into orbit - [10-million-devs.netlify.com](https://10-million-devs.netlify.com/) ## Milestones To me, it feels like it was just yesterday we launched our 5 million devs celebration with a [WebGL based browser game](https://5-million-devs.netlify.com/) back at the end of 2024. . It took us 5 years to reach 1 million developers in 2020, close to another 5 years to reach our 5 million milestone. Exactly on X-mas eve 2025 that number doubled as we crossed 10 million the same year Netlify [turned 10 years old](https://biilmann.blog/articles/10-years-of-netlify/). And this 10th year of Netlify marked a new begining: [the era of Agent Experience](http://netlify.com/ax). 2025 started with tools like Bolt.new, Lovable, and Repl.it surging in popularity and revenue as they opened the doors to building software for millions and millions of new users, and ended with the rise of Claude Code and incredible models like Opus 4.5 clearly showing that the way we all develop for the web has permanently changed. Agents are now writing the code and this opens up the web as a platform to build on to millions, maybe even billions of new users. And once you start building real-world value-creating software at work – with AI Agents writing the code – [**You are now a developer.**](https://www.netlify.com/blog/you-are-now-a-developer/) Thank you for being part of this journey. ### Share - [X (fka Twitter) ](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?text=Celebrating 10 million developers&url=https://www.netlify.com/blog/10-million-developers/) - [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.netlify.com%2Fblog%2F10-million-developers%2F) - [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=https://www.netlify.com/blog/10-million-developers/) - [Bluesky](https://bsky.app/intent/compose?text=Celebrating 10 million developers+https://www.netlify.com/blog/10-million-developers/) ## Keep reading ![](/images/blog/edge-functions-firecracker-microvms.png) News & Announcements September 29, 2026 [ ### 5x faster Edge Functions: v8 isolates to Unikraft MicroVMs ](/blog/edge-functions-firecracker-microvms/) - Jake Champion - ![Profile picture of Aarthy Chandrasekhar](/images/people/aarthy-chandrasekhar.jpg) Aarthy Chandrasekhar - ![Profile picture of Ivan Zarea](/_astro/451968a8e873f95cf69c7edd78eb29a9035541eb-1024x1024_2wyTXf.webp) Ivan Zarea ![](/_astro/293b82c564c394853a3b9f6f7c4df278dd41846d-1200x675_1XQqSx.webp) News & Announcements August 25, 2026 [ ### Compete in OpenAI’s WebMCP Challenge with Netlify ](/blog/compete-openai-webmcp-challenge/) - ![Profile picture of Karthik Puvvada](/_astro/e5524d3c315ad5114e1d5300d8991bfe902916fe-192x192_qfdWJ.webp) Karthik Puvvada ## Recent posts News & Announcements September 29, 2026 [ ### 5x faster Edge Functions: v8 isolates to Unikraft MicroVMs ](/blog/edge-functions-firecracker-microvms/) - Jake Champion - ![Profile picture of Aarthy Chandrasekhar](/images/people/aarthy-chandrasekhar.jpg) Aarthy Chandrasekhar - ![Profile picture of Ivan Zarea](/_astro/451968a8e873f95cf69c7edd78eb29a9035541eb-1024x1024_2wyTXf.webp) Ivan Zarea Opinions & Insights September 22, 2026 [ ### How we built Git storage for millions of Netlify projects ](/blog/how-we-built-git-storage-for-millions/) - ![Profile picture of Philippe Serhal](/_astro/795792fe4d14648b1b96285e46426ed964b802d7-512x512_Z23ebKb.webp) Philippe Serhal Tools & Services September 10, 2026 [ ### Cursor Origin repositories build, preview, and deploy on Netlify ](/blog/cursor-origin-repositories-on-netlify/) - ![Profile picture of Gehrig Kunz](/_astro/b4e9f58d914d1334ea70d53ea55a1f26b26f1445-512x512_Z202edR.webp) Gehrig Kunz ![](/_astro/3f255b372fa958df35802666ee33b4609b2d71bd-1200x1586_nzSVh.webp) ### How do the best dev and marketing teams work together?
